Vaughn and Jenny took a short vacation, so I got to keep Sophie and Zeke. While Sophie is dignified and inscrutable, Zeke is about as transparent as a dog can be. He follows me around the house, and his eyes and body say, "Wadda ya doin'? Wadda ya doin'? Wadda ya doin'? Wadda ya doin'? Oh, My FAVORITE!" He really tries to appear as fine a Sophie, but how can a name like Zeke compete for class with a name like "Sooofffie" Here they are:
When I asked if they would pose for my blog, Sophie said, "Do as you wish--any pose is as good as it gets." Zeke on the other hand turned himself inside out and upside down. "Like this? No No, here. I can look coyly over my shoulder. No! not manly enough. How about--no, no, I've got it. I'll stand up." He stood there straight as an arrow, no foot shuffling or readjusting his position for a good 15 seconds while I got off the best shot. He's pretty proud of it.

That's soooo adorable! I think Ella and Zeke would get along wonderfully.
