A Slow Weekend

I took Saturday off--I'm sure I'll regret it, but here's Sunday's report. Robert and Scott came over again and helped me move the desk and last cabinet out of the storage area. I could have never done that myself. After we went to lunch, I got busy and removed some paneling and some walls. To be honest the most difficult part was carrying all the panels and chunks of dry wall up the stairs and lifting them into the dumpster (the top of the dumpster is about 2 feet above my head).

Before...
After...
All the stuff you can glimpse in this doorway...
Ended up in here.
Here's what used to be the wall between the two storage areas.

And here's what's left to do. I have to disassemble that cupboard and tear down the walls in the corner. Ugh!

Holy moly. I can't believe how much you are getting done by yourself! I wish I could help...

Your definition of slow is a little perplexing to me! That's a lot of work! You should be proud of yourself! I can hardly wait to see what the new and improved basement looks like...
