The Drywall Artisan

On Saturday, Hector came back to finish the dry wall patch. I had no idea it was such an art. His tools are amazing. There's one that makes perfect corners, one that patches seams seamlessly, and (as you will see later) a tool he built himself to texture the ceiling. Check out the collection of tools in the last picture. Here he is at work. I have a new appreciation for what it takes to make dry wall into a wall.
This is after the first round of patching (it takes 3 several days apart to do it right, you know--or maybe, like me, you don't know)
He has a very clever way of working his way around the room and in and out of other rooms.

Wow--that's pretty cool and clever. I often think that if only I had the right tools everything would be easier.

Watching him walk around the room was awesome! I bet watching him all day was a blast. And (for the next post), I can see why he is pleased with himself, that is quite the tool!
