So Back to the Salt Mines

So Wednesday night the room was ready to start the long task of painting. First comes the primer coat, then the ceiling paint, then the real paint color--twice, then the trim, then the touch-up work. So back to Wednesday. I told Cal that I was going to rent a sprayer and he offered to loan me his for the job. I had no idea what a true boon that would prove to be.
I primed the new room Wednesday night. That means taping or otherwise covering every nonometer of surface area that you don't want paint on. Believe me the sprayer will deliver paint to every itty bitty crack. I even painted a spider door, front and back.
The taping took longer than the painting!
I even had to cover myself up. I had coveralls that covered everything including my feet, a sock hood that covered me up to my eyes from the bottom and over the eyebrows from the top, gloves, and glasses.
Here's the beast that did the lion's share of the work.
I had a problem with the glasses getting foggy with paint and was tired of washing them every 30 seconds, so I took them off.

Yes, the blood shot eye got painted too!
