And one more...

So I had saved a few of the Russian Sage plants, intending to transplat them when it wasn't so hot. The "unplanned complication" moved up the time line.
These beauties got plowed under, but I had 5 more that I decided to try to save today. I want them up against the fence so I can put some grass in for Grandma and Granpa.
Remember that hole that had water in it? I dug 7 of them about 18 inces deep this morning and filled them with water to soak the ground. By about 6 pm the water had drained and they were ready for the plants. Oliver helped me by keeping the dogs happy--he threw their ball, buried it for them to find and dashed arond the ditches and walls and mounds of rocks while they chased him. He posed with the newly transplanted sages.

I'm really tired!

Wow! Good work! Digging holes is exhausting! Glad you had Oliver to 'help', and I love how nicely the dogs have posed with him.
